Techniques of tree pruning have come a long way in recent years. With the exception of small bushes, hedges, and fruit trees, lopping is out. In nearly all situations, it is possible, through branch thinning, to make trees safe without radically changing their shape.
I had Jacob in during last winter. He was on time, kept working even when weather was very wet (thankfully not windy). All timber was cleaned up and neatly put to the side as per my request. Honest, on time and reliable

Jacob Hibbard has done a couple of jobs for clients of my design practice, including removing one of the biggest trees I've ever seen which sadly was half destroyed in a storm. He knows his stuff and his work is excellent. He's prompt, reliable and reasonably priced. I'll use Jacob's Ladder again!
Felled a 12m tree with 4 trunks situated about 2m from the house...no damage and very professional. Getting him back to clean up dead limbs on other trees.
